Trash Pick-up
Trash
Trash is picked up twice a week in Island Moorings. The pickup days are Monday and Thursday in Island Moorings. Trash in anything other than the special tote will not be picked up. The lid of the tote must close (trash cannot be overflowing preventing the tote from closing or it will not be picked up.) To find out the cost and to arrange for this service including the special trash tote, please contact the City of Port Aransas at (361)749-4111.
Recycling
Recycling is voluntary in the City of Port Aransas. If you wish to recycle, recycled material is picked up on Mondays. Recycled material must be in the special recycling tote provided by the city. To obtain a tote, call the City of Port Aransas at (361)749-1111.
Yard Waste
Yard waste defined as tree branches, palm tree cuttings is picked up on Monday or Tuesday of each week and should be placed on the curb in front of the homeowner's residence by Sunday evening. Please do not place yard waste on or in front of vacant lots as these lot owners do not pay for trash pickup and the city will not pick up the material.
Bulk Trash
The City of Port Aransas does not pick up bulk trash. Homeowners who have bulk trash must arrange on their own for haul away at their expense.

Electricity
Citizens have their choice as to who they wish to have as their power provider. On the state sponsored website, Power to Choose, (double click this link to get to their web site) you will be able to find the power provider which best meets your needs. This site will show the providers for our area, the prices they charge, the length of the contracts offered.
Gas
Gas is supplied by the City of Port Aransas (double click this link to visit their web site).
Water
Water for our area is supplied by Nueces Water Control District 4 (double click this link to get to their web site).
